CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A prestigious honor coming to Flour Bluff ISD Wednesday.
The Texas Education Agency has awarded the district for their Purple Star Campus designation.
It's reserved for schools that show superior commitment to supporting military-connected students.
The TEA awarded the title to all Flour Bluff ISD schools.
The district says the city's strong naval ties give them even more reason to be military-family friendly.
