CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Funeral services are pending for former Nueces County Constable Natividad "Nati" Salinas Alaniz who passed away at the age of 92.
Alaniz was elected as the first Mexican American woman to hold a Constable of Precinct 1 position in Nueces County.
She was also well known for her service and leadership throughout the community, by being the first Hispanic president of the Southside Lioness Club and the first female president of the North American Senior Citizens Club.
Funeral services have not yet been announced but we will keep you updated.
