Harbor Bridge Project 4-day closure begins Thursday evening

The northwest loop ramp from Martin Luther King Drive to southbound SH 286 will be closed until Monday.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Starting at 9 p.m. Thursday, Harbor Bridge Project crews will begin a four-day closure of the northwest loop ramp from Martin Luther King Drive to southbound SH 286 to continue construction at the south interchange.

If you plan to head southbound on US 181 to southbound SH 286 you will now be detoured to the Port Avenue and Nueces Bay Boulevard exit.

All motorists are advised to follow the posted speed limits and drive carefully through the south interchange due to the construction and changes.

The closure is expected to be lifted by Monday. All work is weather permitting.
