Gregory's 72nd annual Jamaica returns this week!

This week, Immaculate Conception's benefit festival is back for it's 72nd year and better than ever with live music to dance to, great food, games and an auction.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — For generations, families have been showing up to have fun at the Immaculate Conception Church of Gregory's annual Jamaica.

This week, the benefit festival is back for it's 72nd year and better than ever, with live music to dance to, great food, games and an auction.

Sunday morning, we heard from Naida and Antonio Rios on Domingo Live who told us why the festival has been a hit for seven decades.

"It's a wonderful event, not only because it's a family-fun filled event but, you know, I was thinking the other day, "Wow, you know, a lot of these bands are always at the different venues but this is your opportunity to be at our location and catch all of them," said organizer Naida Rios. "And it's all for a great cause, for the church, it's a labor of love by all the parishioners."

As per tradition, parking and admission to the festival is free for all.
