CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — La Retama Central Library will temporarily close starting Friday as crews work to install new flooring and make repairs to the ceiling.
The library is expected to be open to the public again by Dec. 3.
According to Assistant Director of Library Technology Alan Carlos, the upgrades like the new moisture-resistant flooring are important to keep the facility up to date.
"What's great is we have a total of six facilities, six libraries for our residents to take advantage of," he said. "The closest two will be at the McDonald Library on Greenwood and the Neyland Library on Carmel Parkway."
