CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Those interested in a career in law enforcement were able to learn and explore different opportunities Wednesday at the third annual Law Enforcement Job Fair at the American Bank Center.
The event was hosted by the Refugio Police Department and the Coastal Bend Police Chief Association.
Communications Manager for Workforce Solutions Xena Mercado explained how the event speaks volumes for the growing need for law enforcement officers, year-round.
"It's for the community, we're here to support the Coastal Bend, as well as South Texas and law enforcement is very much needed in this area and every area," Mercado said. "We do what we can to support law enforcement and make sure they are taken care of."
The event continues to grow every year and if you weren't able to attend the job fair you can check out the Workforce Solutions calendar of events to see upcoming job fairs.
