Lone Star cardholders can enjoy Texas State Aquarium for $3 until the end of February

The community access program is designed so more community members to have access to the aquarium.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — From now until Feb. 28 all Lone Star cardholders can enjoy the Texas State Aquarium for just $3 a person!

The discounted price is valid for all residents of Nueces, Kleberg, San Pat and Aransas counties.

It's a community access program designed so more community members can have access to the aquarium.

To participate, you must have a valid ID matching the name on your Lone Star card, this will get you up to four tickets. 

Make sure to check the aquarium's website for blackout days, when the discount will not be accepted.

P-EBT, WIC, and other assistance cards are not accepted, the card must say "Lone Star Card."

The Texas State Aquarium was recently announced top five best aquariums in the nation by USA Today's 10 Best Readers Choice awards.
