CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Richard Gonzales has been sentenced to 99 years in prison for the murder of 48-year-old Michael Lee Doria in 2022.
In addition to murder the 57-year-old was found guilty of tampering with evidence and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Gonzales was the suspect in a homicide case out of Sinton where officers were called to Sodville Street after reports of shots fired.
That's where they found Doria who was pronounced dead at the scene.
