CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Moby Dick's Seafood Restaurant in Port Aransas will soon close its doors for good on Saturday, Sept. 14, the owners announced on Facebook Wednesday.
The restaurant addressed their valued customers and friends, saying that the news comes with mixed emotions after two decades of serving the Island community.
"When we opened our doors two decades ago, our vision was to create a family-friendly atmosphere where delicious seafood and cherished memories intertwined," read the Facebook statement.
"Thanks to your unwavering support, we have succeeded beyond our dreams. Our hardworking staff has been the heart and soul of this establishment, and we are forever grateful for their dedication and service."
The seafood establishment expressed gratitude for their patrons, reminiscing on those who dined with them and celebrated milestones over the years, becoming part of their extended family.
"The memories we’ve created together will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for making these years truly unforgettable."
The restaurant will continue with normal business operations until Sept. 14 and encourage their supporters to stop by one last time before they close.
