CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Kayee Elizabeth Butts, 31, died following a major accident between two vehicles on the 4800 block of Old Brownsville Road and Horne Road on Tuesday morning.
CCPD said she failed to maintain a single lane of travel and crossed over into the north bound traffic striking the second driver around 6:59 a.m.
Corpus Christi police said the driver of the second vehicle was taken to the hospital with less severe, 'non-life-threatening' injuries for treatment.
The roadway was shut down for several hours.
