NCSO alert residents of recent home burglaries in Northwest Corpus Christi

Multiple recent burglaries have taken place on or near FM 1694 between SH 44 and Leopard Street, according to NCSO officials.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Multiple recent home burglaries on the city's Northwest side has prompted the Nueces County Sheriff's Office to advise residents in the area to take extra security precautions.

According to NCSO officials, the burglaries have taken place on or near FM 1694 between SH 44 and Leopard Street.

They add that the suspects are taking items ranging from TVs and gaming consoles to jewelry and tools.

 The sheriff's office reminds residents of these security tips:

  • Lock doors and windows
  • Turn on exterior lights at night
  • Install security cameras if possible
  • Take pictures of high-value items and their serial numbers
  • If you see something suspicious, notify law enforcement
