CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Plenty of fun to be had at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History but this Saturday, September 28, you can expect mucho más at their Hispanic Heritage Month event!
It's a celebration of the city's roots in Hispanic culture, complete with interactive exhibits, a community ofrenda and even traditional loteria.
Also featured, a lecture by Sarah Gould, CEO of the Mexican-American Civil Rights Institute.
"She is leading the charge to establish the nation's first Mexican-American Civil Rights Museum. So, she'll be speaking about Corpus Christi's role and Corpus Christians' role in the national conversation about Mexican-American civil rights," said CEO and president of the museum Karen Stevenson.
