CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car while trying to cross FM 2444, according to DPS Sgt. Rob Mallory.
He said early investigation shows that the pedestrian was traveling southbound, towards the city, before attempting to cross the road.
FM 2444 was momentarily shut down between County Road 43 and Crosstown Expressway as DPS Troopers and Nueces County Sheriff's Office investigated the crash.
