CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Commuters can expect to see construction crews in place throughout the month of October along sections of I-37 frontage roads and mainlanes between Nueces Bay Boulevard to Staples Street.
The Harbor Bridge Project announced Monday that ongoing paving operations will include the installation a final surface layer across the thoroughfare-- meaning drivers should be prepared for short-term closures along the way.
Entrance and exit ramps, frontage roads, and mainlanes will be intermittently closed to support the operation as it progresses.
The HBP says this final step to complete the roadways marks a significant milestone towards improved connectivity around the South Interchange.
All work is weather permitting.
