CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — West Nile virus was found in a mosquito pool tested in Agua Dulce, according to Nueces County Judge Connie Scott.
This is the fourth positive confirmation of the virus in that area since July.
The result serves as a reminder to prevent contact with mosquitoes by wearing protective clothing when outside, using mosquito repellant that contains DEET and checking around your home for any standing water.
