CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Adolfo Bueno, a 75-year-old man from Sandia was found dead near Javelina Creek Road after his car left the roadway and struck a tree early Sunday morning, per the Texas Department of Public Safety
The incident happened at approximately 2:18 a.m. when Bueno was driving his 2006 Toyota Corolla in the southbound lane of Javelina Creek Road
Authorities are still trying to understand why the Corolla left the roadway. The 75-year-old man was discovered deceased at the scene
An autopsy has been ordered to help determine the cause of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Corpus Christi Highway Patrol Office.
