CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas —
If you're looking for a job in the maritime industry, Workforce Solutions of Coastal Bend may be able to help you out Wednesday afternoon.
WSCB will be hosting their 2nd annual Maritime Expo and Career Fair to help connect employers to those looking for a career on the Gulf Coast.
The event takes place at the Ortiz Center at the Port of Corpus Christi and is open exclusively to students between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The event will open to the job seekers between 2:00- 5:00 p.m
Participants can expect a tour of three different vessels at the Port of Corpus Christi’s dock including the U.S. Coast Guard ‘s Cutter Mallet. The Port’s fireboat and tugboats will also be at the dock for viewing.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring a resume with them as there will be maritime employers on site ready to interview and talk about exploring different career paths.
