CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Early Saturday morning, just after midnight, officers responded to calls reporting a wrong way driver traveling east bound on the west bound side of Highway 358.
CCPD drove parallel to the vehicle with lights and sirens activated but the driver ignored them and continued driving.
The vehicle then exited the highway at Ennis Joslin Road and came to a stop at the 3000 block of Whistler Drive.
23-year-old Jesus Bazan was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest. His vehicle was also impounded.
