CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Time to dig out your best zombie gear and drag your zom-'bae' with you to the House of Rock on Oct. 18 at 8:30 p.m.
The fabled Corpus Christi music house is bringing the decade-long tradition of Zombie Prom back from the dead, per a media release sent out Tuesday.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to dawn their best undead costumes and participate in the contest for Zombie Prom King & Queen. Contestants will be selected throughout the evening by House of Rock staff and voted on by the audience.
The family-friendly event will feature DJ Johnny Hotcakes, who will be spinning undead tunes all night long.
Organizers said it will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to check out the 'infamous' House of Rock basement and learn about its history. Tours are limited, and will not be available for purchase at the door.
If you are looking to really pumpkin-spice up your spooky season-- a Haunted History Basement Tour is available for purchase as an add on for ticketholders.
Multiple ticket packages are available including General Admission, a date night couples package and a VIP package which includes early entry, a free photo op, a finger food snack buffet along with a specialty zombie themed cocktail.
The event runs from 9PM to 1AM.
