CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Triton football team was at La Palmera Mall this afternoon spreading holiday cheer and helping families out.
The football players teamed up with CASA of the Coastal Bend to wrap gifts for anyone who may not have had the time to do it!
We caught up with one of the players who told 3News that, for him, giving back to the community and helping kids is extra special.
"It's a blessing to be a part of this situation, I grew up in a foster care situation so it's always beautiful to be able to come back and help and be part of the community," said Leonard Harris.
The Tritons' have their first game in store in March of 2024.
