CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The treasured tradition aimed at helping all our neighbors sit down with fellow community members and enjoy a warm, holiday meal at no cost is happening Saturday.
The annual H-E-B Feast of Sharing is Made possible through the grocery store's mobile kitchens, which will be serving up enough holiday meals to feed 10,000 people!
In addition to the food, there's also free services and activities for the family, including photo opps with Santa!
3NEWS spoke with event officials as they set the tables for the massive lunch that everyone in the community is invited to.
Bobby Rodriguez, senior public affairs specialist with H-E-B said the event is for all to enjoy.
"It's not just for one type of person, anyone who wants to come by can come by grab a hot meal. It's a true Texas dinner. It has brisket, beans, potato salad, a slice of bread and of course, an apple pie."
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. at the American Bank Center, and you can grab firsts and even seconds at the festive feast until 4 p.m.
