CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Carroll high school student has put together his own funds for a good cause--his love of dance and supporting other local dancers.
Anthony Melon told 3NEWS that he choreographed an entire show and even invited dancers from other local schools to participate.
Every dime of his paychecks from a fast-food restaurant goes toward the show costumes and the display.
He says the sacrifice has never been a problem, because dance is his passion.
3NEWS photojournalist -- Chris Pedone -- captured some of the sights and sounds this week from rehearsal.
If you are interested in purchasing tickets to CC Hip Hop Show, you are invited to the Casa Ortiz Events Center on Gollihar right behind the Walmart on Staples.
They will perform this Thursday from 6:30- 8 p.m. and have another show next Thursday at the same time.
