CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Trade Center is seeing some large crowds doing their last-minute shopping ahead of the weekend festivities- and with good reason too. The beloved trade center has long boasted a variety of novelty shops where visitors can find something special for their loved ones during the holiday season.
One of those special stores is Tony's Record Shop, which has been in the trade center for nearly 20 years. It's owned by Mr. Tony, who said that it's rarer to find people selling CD's these days.
In this endearing live shot with Simone Simpson, we're introduced to the man who spins the tunes for those shopping and can show you a pretty extensive record collection. From Tejano to American pop and rock & roll, Mr. Tony has it all.
Tony's Record Shop is located in the Corpus Christi Trade Center, where you’ll find many things suitable for a wide range of budgets and you can shop for the entire family. They have toys, clothing, shoes, jewelry, makeup, and novelty items from your favorite movies, and shows including anime.
The Trade Center closes at 7p, Saturday and Sunday. Velma Zamora, the General Manager for the Trade Center says they’re not going to close their doors until the last customer leaves.
