CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces County ESD 2 says that one person is dead after a single-vehicle accident took place early Sunday morning near SPID and Jonnell Street in the Flour Bluff area.
Authorities said that at approximately 4 a.m., crews from Corpus Christi Fire Department and ESD2 responded to the fatal accident on SPID heading eastbound near Jonnell Street. Crews used the jaws of life to remove the victim, who had unfortunately died as a result of the accident. No other injuries were reported.
Fire chief Weston Beseda told 3NEWS that there is no word yet on what caused the accident.
