CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Downtown Corpus Christi saw a traffic update on Friday.
The small stretch of Lomax Street between Mesquite and Chaparral has been reopened early after city officials estimated a 2-week closure.
The road was closed off for construction of a new hotel in the downtown area. Officials with the Downtown Management District credited the crews at the Homewood Suites and the city for making the street accessible this weekend so folks can enjoy the local businesses there, with ease.
