CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 44-year-old woman is dead after being struck by gunfire at a residence in the 5800 block of Skylark Drive on Friday night, per Corpus Christi police.
Authorities are saying she and another woman- a 60-year-old- were inside of the home at around 9:31 p.m. when a black car with black rims, possibly a Mazda, drove by and began shooting into the house before fleeing the scene.
Both women were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
