CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Island University student and Olympian Ryann Phillips' debut in Paris has come to an end.
The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi student did not advance to the finals in trap shooting -- but did tie with fellow American and world champion Rachel Tozier, and Alessandra Perilli, who medaled in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
In a social media post, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi congratulated Phillips on her "brilliant Olympic debut," adding that they "have a feeling we'll be seeing Ryann again in L.A. 2028."
